Toulouse; Feria De Toulouse Fenquillet - June

The immense popular success of the first Feria de Fenouillet-Tolosa Toros has once and for all marked the return of bullfighting to the Toulouse area, attracting more than 80,000 visitors each year. Fenouillet, a lovely village north of Toulouse, hosts four days of bullfighting in a portable arena that can accommodate more than 9000 fans at a time. The second edition of the Feria in 2004 enabled spectators to admire the skills of the most famous Torreros, Marie Sara, Patricia Pallen, Stéphane Meca and Sébastien Castella included. This year, they’re all coming back to delight visitors in the warm atmosphere of the Campo de Feria with its bodegas, cantinas, bandas and groups of sevillanas and flamenco dancers.
